From the Equatorial Chamber you can observe the sun’s path at equinox and the stars that travel directly above the earth’s equator. The Equatorial Chamber is located in the entrance to the Star Tunnel, the core of Star Axis that is precisely aligned with the Earth’s axis and frames our north star, Polaris. The Equatorial Chamber alignments and those of the Star Tunnel converge at a perfect right angle.
